No can't do at the moment :( Luppp depends on lilv (and hence on
libsord-dev and lv2-extensions-good) so you need to get those from
somewhere and risk breaking your existing LV2 installation or ending up
with a lot of applications (like qtractor < 0.5.3 iirc, unless you set
the right configure options) that don't work with the newer LV2 stuff.

and its compiling fine. I've checked the libconfig site for version info as

Fixed in git. Thanks for the report, wasn't copying resources into the
.build directory.
No dice. I have the latest from the devel branch and at the end of the
build it does copy some stuff now:
Copying resources...
Copying src/ui.glade to .build/
Copying src/headphones.png to .build/
Copying src/lupppIcon.png to .build/
The files are in .build all right, but I still get the same error. Some
other stuff missing?

I've installed libconfig++ from [1], it was installed under /usr/local/lib/
I've created a libconfig++.conf file having a single line with the path
"/usr/local/lib" under /etc/ld.so.conf.d to find libconfig++.so.9.
To get that phat configured just run 'sudo ldconfig'.
Nevertheless I can't get any sound fom luppp.
I just loaded some wav samples using also vmpk as MIDI keyboard (using jack
midi) but still no sound....
Anyway I will go through it in the morning.

I don´t understand quite why you´re putting custom config files around...
it should work out of the box, so long as your version of LibConfig is
greater or equal to 1.4.8

playback
-JACK transport needs to be running (just "rolling", tempo & BBT info not
used ATM)
-Click on the clip constantly while its orange, and eventually it will got
green & play. This is due to a bug in clip launch code, that (badly) needs
to be fixed.

"src/jackclient.cpp", especially the "processMidi()" or
"apcRead()"
functions. That MIDI handling code needs to be moved to a seperate MidiMap
class, and that will be implemented when I redo the entire input MIDI
system (soon). Ie: don't get too attached to its current method of working

Just a small bugreport - you should change the build dependencies in
wscipt - Luppp at least needs gtkmm version 2.16, older versions are missing
GGtk::MenuItem::set_label(...).
Nota bene: I couldn't test further since my gtkmm is too old, it's entirely
possible that other symbols are missing as well (and might require even newer
versions of gtkmm).
Oh, and one more thing: even after fixing the wscript and removing both
'.build' and '.waf-.....' directories waf happily configures even so my
version of gtkmm is too old. Is this a bug in waf?
