Hi,
forgive me if this question has been asked before: Is there something like a
Linux Live CD optimized for and containing audio (editing) applications?
Something like this
http://www.frozentech.com/content/livecd.php
where I can simply insert the CD, boot from it, and start working on my songs?

i'm mantaining dyne:bolic for the purpose, it's built from scratch
(optimized for pentium-mmx) and runs als on XBOX consoles.
it packs a couple of sound software and the next version is coming up
with a complete PD setup full of externals.

and if you need more space you can simply use the harddisk or the net,
at least with dyne:bolic i can assure you can.

while, unless you have NTFS, d:b provides full r/w support for HDs.

loads the whole dist into RAM, making it very stable and fast :)
