Hey all,
I've began learning about the LADSPA standard, read the comments in the
header, read the ladspa.org info,
but still I wouldnt know where to start with writing my own code to make a
plugin process a buffer.
So my request is as follows, is there a "here's 20 lines of code to process
a buffer" tutorial somewhere?
I've downloaded the SDK, but reading trough the "applyplugin.c" code
confused me more than it helped...
800+ lines is more than I can understand in one go.. :-)

Look at something like one of the simple amplifier plugins, that just
takes in a buffer, multiplies all the samples by a variable amount, and
spits them back out.

Perhaps I should have been more careful in phrasing my question: I'm trying
to write the host.
I'll look at some simple example plugins too though, I guess it'll help
learn what functions the host
needs too call. :-)

IMHO for neither of these the SDK is an example to follow.
I don't have any apps that load ladspa plugins, so I can't offer
any code, but there must be some better examples available - any
app that uses plugins could be one.

It's part of an art project for which I needed a reverb, it is stable

Perfect. Have just read it there, there are certain elements that I dont
*fully* understand yet,
but that code has shed a lot of light on what I should & shouldn't be doing.
