I like to announce GxSVT.lv2 here.
After a couple of issues been solved, I like to push this simulation to
the stable GxPlugins.lv2 branch.
So, you ask what is it?
Well, it's a analogue simulation of the bright channel from the (*)Ampeg
SVT Bass Preamp, the 61XX series.
Additional I've added a (selectable) Cabinet simulation circuit which
simulate the Mesa Bogie V-Twin cabinet, of course, not really a bass
cabinet, but I've tweaked it a bit to behave like a 4x10 Celestion.
So, you ask, what, what the hell I've to do with this?
It's simple, as a open source developer, I depend on your feedback,
otherwise, I may get lost between development circles.
Right now, I'm very proud about this plug, and I believe I've nailed it,
but maybe, I'm wrong. That's what I like to know, am I wrong?
Tell me, don't be shy :)
Okay, here the observe sreeny:

Hello -
This is a short improv for piano and drums from the 'archives', from
quite a few years ago. The backdrop is set by the acoustic guitar and
the acoustic bass guitar. The drums sounds from an Hydrogen kit were
played using an Alesis Control Pad. The piano improv was left as is, no
edit. The drum track was multed to extract the toms and snare whenever
possible. Couldn't resist to add something, so some slight synth pad
was added here and there to underline certain passages.
There is a long fade in, so please do not adjust the volume at the
beginning.

Cheers.
Hi all,
As somewhat-on-topic posts seem to be welcome here:
1. When working with audio, do you use more than one monitor?
2. If so, how do you generally divide things up between the monitors,
for different stages of the process?

Hey hey,
these two songs are from the second album, back in the winter of 2002/2003.
The album was called Funny Ways and has - as befits the season - a much darker
spirit, also a few more song-like songs. Partly less experimental and partly
played straighter and surer:

Enjoy! :)

Hey hey,
I just released a couple of Csound User Defined Opcodes (UDOs), including a
controllable formant filter optimised for use with MIDI, as well as three
voice processing modules, a vocoder, a pitch correction plugin and an
auto-tune like opcode that sets a new pitch based on a played MIDI note.
Additionally there is a frequency inverter, which mirrors frequencies around a
supplied centre frequency and the latest addition the Risset filter. This is a
multi-bandpass filter, whose frequencies are controlled by a Risset glissando.
You can specify the centre frequency, q-value or bandwidth, number of
octaves, direction of the glissando and the modulation rate or tempo.

Hey there,
I just uploaded a small photo studio tour. It's not much. But I had a nice
lady over yesterday, who enthusiastically took a few pix. She's in web design
and wondered if I had a gallery online and thus helped getting it started. She
isn't responsible for the actual - nonexistent - layout:

Enjoy and feel free to comment or ask questions.
