[bug] Qtractor session save in Debian Buster

Hello dear LA users, I am currently learning Qtractor usage, but i fail to save a session in version 0.8.3 of Qtractor: the program simply hangs and i have to kill it manually... and the session is not saved. Did any user around here have found a workaround ? This is a serious bug, IMHO. Debian bugtracker reports only one minor bug not exactly bound to this problem. Is there an unofficial deb repo of Qtractor i could test ? Thank you for your replies, Benoît

piano improvisation (body speech)

project "droning": droning271-276

ffmpeg video generation: quality options

Hey hey, I've found the following command to generate a video from single frame images ffmpeg -r 25 -start_number 1 -i image%03d.jpg -c:v libx264 -r 25 -pix_fmt yuv420p out.mp4 My question is: the resultant videos seem quite small. Seeing that I have no knowledge of all the video quality parameters, could someone suggest better options? The input files are 1280x720 JPGs with possibly 16bits for color (standard POV-Ray output). Final destination is youtube. Any suggestions are very welcome. Oneiric : of or relating to dreams. 'Oneiric 1' is like a story out of a dream where logic is distorted although some unconscious thread weaves them in and out as if responding to some kind of continuity. This is not an abstract piece, though. It mimicks quite well what is found in reality, drums, basses, leads, but seems to tell a story whose plot will never be known. This is not a love song. A guide for beginners

Guitarix release 0.35.5 Guitarix is a tube amplifier simulation for jack (Linux), with an additional mono and a stereo effect rack. Guitarix includes a large list of LV2 and LADSPA plugins, and support LADSPA / LV2 plugs as well in it's racks. The guitarix engine is designed for LIVE usage, and feature ultra fast, glitch and click free preset switching and is full Midi and remote controllable (the Web UI is not included in the distributed tar ball). This release fix a issue within the new online preset downloader. If you already use V0.35.4, a upgrade is strongly recommended.
