actually it is not "open source" for any reasonable definition of the
term. Editor software source code, which is crucial for using the

of beta testers. People are understandably disappointed.
It's right up there with the Anonabox project, which purported to be
an “open source embedded networking device designed specifically to run Tor"
which turned out to be a bad implementation of OpenWRT on a cheap Chinese
router with security holes a-plenty.
This just in - Kickstarter's killed that project, which had raised
$585k :

So there's hope that the light of day will cause Mr McMillen to be (ahem)
open about his project as well.
