You must be behind a firewall. I'm sorry, but I don't have access to
the server @ tuxfamily that hosts the repositories in order to
configure it to host git over HTTP.

To me the non-session-manager looks really promising at first sight.
Very easy, light and flexible workflow, kudos! The question is how good
it really is and how hard it is to get apps to support it and how much
developers are willing to add it.
That probably depends on what devs think of this new 'session protocol',
the good and the bad of it. Is there a discussion about it on LAD with
other people with an opinion on session management like Torben, Paul,
Nedko and Fons for example?
