hi,
and of course 5-10 minutes later after i sent out this email, i found
the stupid thing:

$ jackd -v -d firewire
if i add -r 44100 it just works. so firewire needed at least audiorate
parameter. of course in qjackctl all is fine now too..
so, thanks for reading.
