the sequence starts, I

see why you _wouldn't_ want this capability in the
sequencer. Why make
more
work for the user?
cakewalk did that too. ahhhhhh cakewalk *purrrr*
it's not a big function. if cat file >/dev/midi00 can *almost* do it, then
damn, it can't be THAT hard! :)
oh I'll just have to learn to program for real and write one.
