Do you mean a pop-up PQ code editor within Ardour,
 Ron?

I just saw mention of DAO in the thread and responded
with the assumption that something is being considered
for JAMin.
I forget what the PQ code is but you're probably
correct. I use scripts to add client directories.
Every client has the same directories which include
wav and masters. Then I use a scripts to burn from
those directories. If I run 'client-master' that
script reads "ls *.wav" and asks for the amount of
time between each song and prompts for several text
fields.
I never got the text fields to work despite my old
burner being listed as having text capabilities.
I'm under the impression that the text fields include
titles so we can have "i gotta name" instead of "Track
01".
As for fields, let's not forget ISRC codes, for
 automated royalty
accounting. I gather many radio stations rely on
 this now, so it's
got to be a 'must-have' feature for a professional
 musician.
Now that you mention it, I'm hungry. :)
Ron
  Cheers
