included with a hardware mixer i bought, and soon after ditched most
software altogether in favour of real (DIY and off-the-shelf)
hardware. I still use pure data though.
Bitwig looks interesting and i might give it a shot again when i
won't have to code javascript to get my hardware connected.
Reaper via Wine, is almost against my Floss &
technical principles ... I
still believe in Floss software, if the devs could care more about the
finishing touch and fluent integration between tools which makes a product
really useful. I probably should blame myself for not giving up hope
already ;)
I wasn't so lucky getting emulated audio software to run well
enough, and meanwhile would advise to not wasting time blaming, just
use what works for you :)
from workaround to workaround. But I don't give up
hope yet! :)
the hope is still there, but being a diehard open source advocate
was not very helpful to get me going musically.
