What was your first computer ?
After making my parents win 3.1 unusable (for a day) by setting the colors to
white text on white background, I got their old 8086 handed down. Dos, 20MB
harddisk, two disk-drives 5,25" and I tried to write my first 2D Star-Trek
game in basic on that machine.
What was the first music/sound software you used that
really hooked you
into this making-music-with-computers fad ?
Later when I got the first good soundcard with wavetable (Guillemont(?)
MaxiSound) I started with sequencing in Cakewalk Express and Notation with
Capella. On Linux my music expierence started when I started to write
software for KDE...
Have fun,
Arnold
