I have an old PowerMac 7500 upgraded to a maxpowr

if I can get linux to run on this machine?
Check out Yellow Dog Linux at
http://yellowdoglinux.com - it's very close to
RedHat in terms of installation and packages, and is a good way to keep
those G3's useful for a little while longer.
As it isn't originally a G3, my main (uninformed) concern has been that
the daughtercard cpu upgrade won't be supported. Is this concern
unfounded from what you know?
Anyone with experience using debian on ppc?
Thanks to all for this almost offtopic indulgence.
