I have an old PowerMac 7500 upgraded to a maxpowr
G3 300MHz cpu
(originally with a 601 100MHz chip). This is a PCI powermac. Do you know
if I can get linux to run on this machine?
Check out Yellow Dog Linux at http://yellowdoglinux.com - it's very close to
RedHat in terms of installation and packages, and is a good way to keep
those G3's useful for a little while longer.
