I did some reading on some of the places pointed

need a couple of spot mics for live recording of a large group I'm

The price looks about right. Any experience with these? Marshall seems a
bit strange though. Just cannot find a web site, so I wonder about
support if needed.

Rumor has it that support is pretty responsive, or at least was
last time i asked a couple years ago. I've never needed to call
them myself.
I'll probably pick up one or two of the V67 myself one of these days.
I don't have it currently, I have the MXL 1006 which is okay but
to my ears it has a pretty harsh top end and by most accounts the V67G
is significantly better than most of the other MXL mics
(the other oft-reported winner is the 603).
Paul,
Thanks very much for the link. I couldn't get Google to do that for
me. I'll be checking it out.
I've also read that the 603 is good, but frankly I've never used a
mic from this manufacturer, nor have any of my closer friends, so I know
very little about them.
Cheers,
Mark
