The funny thing is that the device is seen by Alsa (it's my
hw:2).

I have built a 2.6.15 kernel (with the latest
Ingo Molnar's RT patch) and
when I boot on it, my USB soundcard fails to play. It is playing OK with

loaded,
since aplay finds it, but when playing there is no sound whatsoever.
