If you're using an Inspiron under Linux or Windows, please let me know
if this trouble is unique to Ivy's machine. Suggestions for fixing it
would be much appreciated, that echo effect is truly irritating.
I have DELL Inspiron 9300, dual boot with XP and linux on it. I can hear
no audible artifacts with it, and I'd say it sounds pretty good to me
knowing that it's only a laptop with internal audio interface. Mine has
nVidia graphics card (I think some Inspirons may have ATI, and - of
course you know that better than me - graphics card may have an
influence on the audio).
