It gives you colored patch cords, shadows behind objects (which I have
turned off, as you might have guessed by now), and also Jack-support and
some other niceties.
Does it allow you to change the background colour as well? Personally I find
black-on-white displays hard to look at for long periods of time, which is
the main reason I've never given PD a good try.
