Dunno.. sounds fine to me.
The changing bitrate is normal for ogg streams AFAIK.
MP3 and OGG files can be encoded using what is called a
variable bit rate (VBR), which is why you see the fluctuating
values.

Well, it's working here now. Still wonder where the distortion
crept in. But would bet it was at the streamer.
This was the first time I ever heard a distorted steam and was
ugly.
