Hello all.
I just had a few minutes and tried to install Non Session Manager to
test later in Musix, but failed.
I think I have all required dependencies[1] for
non-daw-and-mixer-v1.1.0.tar.bz2, although it says that Jack is not
present when it is (jackd 0.118). But when trying to do "make" it
doesn't work[2]: No rule for building «nonlib/libnonlib.a», needed for
«src/send_osc>>.
Somebody got that same error or just succeeded?
I think you need libjack-dev
(NSM doesn't need jackdbus, which I see as one of the advantages)
I installed libjack-dev but same error again when "sudo make install"
I think those dependencies should be listed in the README.build file, which
isn't the case right now. Someone on Ubuntu did install these:
build-essential xutils-dev libjack-dev liblo-dev libsigc++-2.0-dev
libfltk1.1-dev fluid libsndfile-dev liblrdf-dev libxpm-dev libcairo2-dev
checkinstall
Download from git:
git clone
git://git.tuxfamily.org/gitroot/non/daw.git
and read the README.build
It's just a simple 'make'
Hth
Messages when installing before don't specify the exact name of
packages, but I guessed most of the ones you point out.
Now trying with the git source, instead of the tarball, making sure
all required packages are installed but no luck again:
$ make
<<< Configuring SESSION_MANAGER
Checking sanity... ok
--- Configuration required
:: Installation prefix? [/usr/local]
:: Build for debugging? [no]
Checking for ar... ok (/usr/bin/ar)
Checking for makedepend... ok (/usr/bin/makedepend)
Checking for ntk_config... failed!
Command ntk_config not found.
make: *** No hay ninguna regla para construir el objetivo «.config»,
necesario para «all». Alto.
Here it says you have to "make -C":

Maybe I should let LAU alone and redirect this subject to non-* mailing list ;)
