qjackctl has had some sort of session management feature in it for a couple releases now.
I haven't used it, but it looks workable.

Just wondering if anyone else has noticed a very

session management is to have a script which connects all the neccessary
ports with jack_connect jack_disconnect?
I've done that in the past, but its a bit fiddly and doesnt work well with
apps that append thier pid the the jack name - though yan can override
than on many.
