Hello all,
Today I installed SC3 and SwingOSC from source (both are
AUR packakges).
Everything works, except:
- The SCLang menu in emacs remains empty.
- Help doesn't work (doesn't seem to find anything, even
if the files are there).
OTOH, sclang-* commands with M-x in emacs do work, as do
the function keys I defined (see below).
I guess I'm missing some path or something similar.
In ~/.emacs I have:
(setq sclang-help-directory "/usr/share/SuperCollider/Help")
(require 'sclang)
(global-set-key [f5] 'mark-sexp)
(global-set-key [f6] 'sclang-eval-region-or-line)
(global-set-key [f7] 'sclang-find-help)
(global-set-key [f8] 'sclang-show-post-buffer)
(global-set-key [S-f8] 'sclang-clear-post-buffer)
In ~/.sclang.cfg I have:
GUI.swing;
SwingOSC.java = "/opt/java/jre/bin/java";
SwingOSC.program = ("/usr/bin/SwingOSC.jar").standardizePath;
SwingOSC.default.boot;
+/usr/share/SuperCollider/SCClassLibrary
+/usr/share/SuperCollider/Extensions
# in case you don't want to use add-on libraries, uncomment as necessary
#-/usr/share/SuperCollider/SCClassLibrary/crucial
#-/usr/share/SuperCollider/SCClassLibrary/JITLib
TIA,
