I can apply similar plugins in Xmms without problems, even with other
processes eating CPU cycles.
You aren't using similar plugins in XMMS. They might be named in a similar way
and might work in a similar way, but they aren't the same great stuff as its
in jamin...
And, yes, Jamin needs some CPU-power, more than similar plugin in other
environments. But its certainly a lot more that you get with Jamin (if you
have enough power).
