i got a focusrite saffire pro26io. it's 'getting there' with linux support,
but still some issues (for me anyway, other people i have heard have no
trouble). apart from that i'd have to agree with Mysth-R and suggest the
firepod. around the same cost (last time i checked, anyway) and 8pres
instead of 2. i'm not a huge fan of what i have heard from edirol, so i'd
imagine the firepod pres are better, but that is just wild speculation :)

Thanks Mysth-R.
I know there is no best option for all purposes, but what I want to know
is if there is an alternative to Edirol FA-101 that is better, something
similar of course.
I have to be sure the device I buy works perfectly on Linux.
thanks,
Lobo

Hi People,
I'm trying to buy a Digital Audio Interface that works on Linux
(Ubuntustudio). I just came from the freeBoB site and I'm thinking in
buying the Edirol FA-101, who thinks this is the best option?
thanks,
Lobo
