Yes.
You don't have to exit alsamixer
Make sure the DAC1 and DAC2 are all the way up for playback - use the
cursor keys to go left/right and use the up/dwn to change the settings.
I suggest using envy24control. It's easier to use.
I.e., should sound come out while
I'm running alsamixer, or do I have to quit it first?
