Last Sunday I set up my laptop for a 3.5-hour
recording session,
Audacity crashed after 2.5 hours. Anyone know why this might have
occurred, what to do about it, whether Audacity is in fact best for
simple recording?
2.5 hours, 44.1KHz, and 4 bytes for sample (i.e. floating point)
require about 1.55G of disk space for 1 channel. (2.17G for 3.5h).
Is there enough space on your temporary directory?
(the default is /var/tmp/audacity-root).
