Well, since I am a volunteer, and have only limited time to come up to speed
on any given program, and then implement it and train the teacher who can
train the students, we might need to wait on KDE noteedit or musescore. I
am assuming that both of those are somewhere in the Ubuntu repositories for
Feisty?
I made and posted a "fake" (the package maintainer's words) Debian package
for AMD64 (Core 2 Duo), built on Sid, here:
http://www.restivo.org/projects/debian/sid-audio-backports/mscore_0.7-0.1_a…
Looks like a neat package. Like most music editors, though, it seems to have a learning
curve.
It is, also, however, exceptionally LARGE. It's like 1.5MB.
(/me looks)
28853492 2007-10-15 11:34 ./usr/bin/mscore
???!! WTF ?!
That's a might big binary.
