Put this in .procmailrc, if you're using procmail
(left-aligned):
# keep only one of duplicate mails:
:0 Wh: msgid.lock
| formail -D 8192 .msgid.cache
Do you have tried this if you use more then ONE Mail-Account and
receive per day over 40.000 Messages?
Even if I use procmail with very HEAVY rules including SPAM-Filtering
(Scoring, ...) use formail with msgid.cache on each message will kill
your Servers resources...
I am using already:
:0
* ^Envelope-To:.*linux4michelle@freenet\.de
* ^TO_.*linuxaudio\.org
.ATTENTION.FLT_cced/
Which works nearly 200 times faster then the formail solution..
