the website of AZR3 and the "windows" logo led me to believe that it

It's part of the ll-plugins CVS repository at
http://ll-plugins.nongnu.org/index.html
. Lars Luthman ported AZR3 (which was written by Rumpelrausch Taips) from a Windoze VST
to LV2.
Basically download the ll-plugins repository, build its dependencies, build and install
elven, then build and install AZR3.
The docs say that it is highly experimental and unstable, but the only components I use
are elven and AZR3, both of which have been extremely stable and reliable. So far I have
used it at maybe 8 or 9 live shows and dozens of rehearsals, with no problems whatsoever.
