It depends on the version of JACK you are using. With current JACK1,
the -X seq option is the best.
With older JACK1 and any version of JACK2, using a2jmidid -e is the
best option as far as timing.
So I remember correctly that there used to be issues with -X seq.
I use jack 1 and it is the latest version, so I'll try -X seq.
