FYI, I put some install notes from a workshop series I did in the UK
with DeMuDi last month up here:
http://umatic.nl/workshop/demudi_install.txt
It covers getting Pure Data, GEM and PDP running on DeMuDi
There are a few things missing, that if others have worked it out I'd
like to know about.
Primarily, how do you get accelerated graphics out of ATI cards?
Also, where are the init scripts for the Qjackctl and Gkrellm2 startup
kept? I don't think either one is strictly necessary to run at startup.
Give a shout-out if you know the answers and I'll be sure to include it.
happy new year!

Bad burn, most likely. See if it passes the test
above. Try getting
another copy of the .iso and see if it md5sums to the copy you
downloaded earlier. Or compare to the .md5 file likely available from
where you got the .iso.

I checked this md5sum (demudi_1.2.0_386.iso) against the one for the
file I downloaded from the CCRMA mirror from the more recent Demudi page.

It is totally off! <incoming dumb question>
So are the checksums constant no matter what server the iso came
from?? Assuming the iso is the same original iso that has been copied
to those servers?
R~
Downloaded and burned this again. Must have been corrupted the first
time. Now have it installed and checking it all out.
Thanks
