say what distro he uses, but an up to date muse is availble from
Planet CCRMA for redhat 7 (and 8 if you ignore some errors) systems.
Doesn't RedHat 8 default to the new 3.2 g++ compiler? I wonder, if
CCRMA packages would run with a libqt, that might be compiled with g++
3.2...
