[LAU] jack startup error under debian/sid

Hello everyone, I've just upgraded my debian system from etch to sid. Using the precompiled jack binaries, I get the following error. $ jackd jackd: symbol lookup error: jackd: undefined symbol: _jack_get_microseconds The error occurs regardless of command-line options, such as jackd -R -v -d alsa A web search turned up a suggestion to remove old jack libraries, which I've done.
