you have several ways to do this:
- one that I've used is to use Carla hosting the desired plugin
just look in the Help->About tab and you will find the OSC URL and the
valid commands that you will be able to send
- other option is to send OSC messages to jack dssi host for DSSI plugins
- NON Mixer is able to host LADSPA plugins and you can control them
using NON timeline through OSC and CV messages
- I think that aother option is to use Ingen but I never tried it
