ahh, thanks! silly me didn't use the -i switch in "locate" so searching
qtractor didn't yield "Qtractor.conf" in that directory.
Hi, was working in qtractor and noticed the menu
bar disappeared:

I must have hit some key combination by error? Anyone knows how to
bring it back? Re-installing it doesn't help, and I couldn't find a
configuration file for qtractor

Ah, the most important one :) always annoying when that happens.
The config file can be found under $XDG_HOME/rncbc.org, which most
likely means ~/.config/rncbc.org.
