In the ALSA sound card matrix I see the Trace D4 supported, but I
don't know how similar these cards are...
As far as I remember (and I have an email here to remember), Florian
Faber <faber(a)faberman.de> has drivers for some of the marian-devices.
He also knows a bit about sound interfaces with _lots_ of channels.
Might be worth contacting him directly.
