That's only if you're crazy enough to record a stereo-pair and record
one track to the analog deck, and one track to Ardour.
That would indeed be crazy and you'd be the only one to blame
for the results.
Linear interpolation, when used for resampling to near unity
rates, will produce periodic modulation (flutter) of HF content.
