Then you do not need a DAW like Ardour so there's no use in wishing it
to be more simple. The contrary is also true. I cannot imagine
mixing
in Audacity so I do not wish it to be more complex.
I didn't mention making Ardour simpler. That was someone else.
"Simpler" and "less infuriating" is not exactly the same.
