I'm running the same Arch/Ardour but with the mainline kernel, no
problems here it seems. What's your processor type? Are you able to
try the mainline kernel easily?

The only new message that appears when I insert the crashing plugin is
"Segmentation fault". Here's the complete terminal on loading a crashing
