I dont disagree that users who want specific things in Linux audio should be willing to encourage a developer by paying / contributing something towards it. The Ardour development model seems to be forging the path here with making what they develop of their own accord available for free...but if you want something special developed ´right now´, kick in some funds for the dev to swing his focus to that. Nothing I ever obtained in life that was worthwhile, came quickly, easily, or ´free´! Thanks, Russell
