I belive it's been said several times on this list that Edirol USB interfaces
work almost flawlessly, with no specific setup required. They can easily be
found at music stores, or the better computer shops.
Avoid M-Audio like the plague. I want to kill my quattro.

I've been struggling with my Edirol UA-20 for some time now. It works well with
usb-audio kernel module, but alsa is not without troubles, which is a pity. And I
can't get midi to work. Maybe I'm just too stupid. Anyone having a flawlessly
working UA-20 with alsa?
