Has anybody read these books? I did a quick search of my archive of
the list and it doesn't look like they've been discussed here. Vol
I is "musical elements," Vol II is "musical signals." Judging by
the table of contents they appear to be comprehensive.
I had the chance to check vol.1 out a little bit (~20 minutes) in a
local university library, and it made it on my To-buy-list. (It's
still on it.)
