I truly believe that a tool is just a tool. It's the person handling the
software that makes the decisions. Sure one decision could be "I wanna
sound *exactly* like <insert commercially successful artist here>" or
maybe the person doesn't have any (personal/unique) musical ideas in the
first place.
  An creative advantage of modular linuxaudio could
 be that you've a high level of creativity and uniqueness in your music. 
And a creative disadvantage could be that your software might be
unstable and limited in what you can do with it?
