most/many of us here I suspect, but that's just a guess.
The 9652 can't do
192kHz - well, with a hack: If you demultiplex the
ADAT streams yourself. And it'll just be 6 channels of audio.
But I haven't seen 192kHz converters with ADAT interfaces. Are there
any?
None that I've seen.
The RME ADI8 QS can do so, but than it is providing only 2 channels per
ADAT interface (alternatively you can use four AES/EBU inputs). But
unfortunately the RME HDSP 9632 (mind the 32, not the 52) supports 192
kHz only via AES/EBU or analogue. I had no problem to configure that
sound card to 192 kHz using hdspconf, ALSA + JACK, and hdspmixer seemed
to work well (without real testing). However, I did not use the latest
ALSA for that (Fedora Core 6/Planet CCRMA, I do not know by heart the
ALSA version).
