Hey hey, this is my latest song, a very quiet song balancing on the edge between gentle  electro and acoustic downtempo: https://youtu.be/Q9ErBjaMTZM OGG Version: https://www.dropbox.com/s/m3wqo4gg07wuqe2/ends_of_the_earth.ogg   On the Linux side I used Csound with my handpan instrument, one conga like  sound and a wobbly pad and many effects and rhythmic elements. There are also  field recordings of rain and crickets. LinuxSampler for piano, djembe and  table and Yoshimi for one of the choir layers. My hardware wavetable synth  served for teh phasey pad, FM-like bass and the other choir layer and twice  analogue goodnees for the deep main basses.   No new plugins in the production, but more attention to perceived depth.   And finally, here are the lyrics:   Sprite on the ice In a mist laden dream.
