Thanks. Heh, "cheap" in the case of the
Terratec is US$279,
appparently, which is a lot of money for me unless I was certain I
could get that much for the FA-66 when I sell it.
maybe the Edirol UA-25 is a bit cheaper or you can get it used on ebay.
Works out of the box on Linux using the famous snd_usb_audio.
