I own/maintain 5 different Arch Linux machines, and I've mostly
switched over. The whole thing did look daunting, but it's generally
gone smoothly despite a few initial misunderstandings on my part. The
main issues I found were around log-ins, ttys, session permissions
etc, and that will all depend on how you're already getting logged in.
The process doesn't really impact on audio at all.

Greetings,
As fellow Arch users know, as of now Arch is officially deprecating the use
of initscripts and sysvinit. Systemd is now supported, and I'm getting ready
to make the switch. It doesn't seem like a difficult thing to do, but I'd
appreciate any advice before taking the plunge. I have a smoothly running
Arch 64 system now, I'd like to keep it that way. :)
TIA,
dp
