Yes, every recent (newer than about 2-3 years) can do full duplex, and
with ALSA supported cards do it on Linux, too. Full duplex isn't
really a feature anymore.
What kind of latencies are we talking about here?
(just
curious - have a laptop myself with USB ports (no PCMCIA))...
I never measured it...
