I would think the names are always the same. On some programs like
csound5 you can set the jack name. Others like pd appear as pure_data_x
where x is the instance number. So if you always run the instances in
the same order, you should have no problem.

Now I'm wondering how predictable the names will be. If things are
connected from script the names should be the same every time. Any
inputs on this?
