I don't know what , but there must be something wrong at the debian
folder of the tar ball that brokes apt when build the debian package .
I did my own deb package using "dh_make" and "fakeroot debian/rules
binary" commands , and everything went fine now.
Hmmm. The only issue that I've com around on my debian virtualbox is
that one must `chmod +x debian/rules` before building it up with just
`dpkg_buildpackage` as root. And that's all I can do about testing
building debs.
YMMV, of course, as I only test this thing very now and then... :)
BTW , the systray issue isn't too annoying .
Tested in Debian Etch x86 (Gnome 2.14.3) and Debian testing amd64
(Xfce4.4.1) with same issues on both .
So, is that right that only on the first run the systray icon looks bad?
Like garbled, random inverted pixels or what?
Thanks for the patience, Carlos. I would rather play some guitar, if I
knew how to play the hundredth as you ;)
Cheers.
