That looks like it's exactly right. However I can't seem to even run
configure (and the binary release doesn't work, complains about missing
symbol in a shared lib (that seems to be included and that I copied to
/usr/lib)): Qt4 command 'moc' not found. Tried:
/usr/share/qt3/bin/moc-qt4 and

No. It looks as if you don't have the devel packages of Qt4 installed. Or the
locations it searching for the Qt4's moc are wrong. What does "moc
--version"
output?
